I’m really disappointed that my Boyfriend and I can’t be Vieras together. Genderlock should not be a thing in a game like FFXIV. I support this thread and the female thread.

Looks like you ignored my statement and the points I brought up and just focused on the Conan photo. That's a whole new level of narrow-mindedness. No you're not "okay" with Conan physique. It's what you want.I don't have an issue with them being close to Conan in terms of their physique. It's between an Au Ra and Highlander in terms of muscle mass, after all.
The women have been designed to be conventionally attractive so I'd like the men to be that way too. A muscle slider should be present, though the base model should have a decent amount of meat on it.
On the topic of Amazonian hunters, extrapolating a build from them, when they’re not solitary hunters like Viera males, who function in an environment which could have much more protein available in addition to that, isn’t going to yield any reliable conclusions.
I’m still eager to see an Au Ra or Highlander build for them.
As for that tweet, did Matsuno actually commission it or not then?
I doubt that many gay or bi men are either. There’s some who like that stuff, as do so some fujoshi. I certainly don’t find it appealing for the most part, being partial to masculine aesthetics.
I'm absolutely fine with people saying I'd like "this" rather than "that". But what bugs me most is the fact that they do so and claim that it's the only way, and any other design or ideas that contradict theirs is "irrelevant", like it has more chance to be implemented than their idea. We're all just players and that's that. The final decision is still up to the devs.On the topic of Amazonian hunters, extrapolating a build from them, when they’re not solitary hunters like Viera males, who function in an environment which could have much more protein available in addition to that, isn’t going to yield any reliable conclusions.

From what I saw, the artist posted some art of female Viera (the image with all the different body types that Matsuno retweeted) and Matsuno asked her to draw male Viera. That's where his description of male Viera came in (so the artist knew what to draw), and then the artist sketched it for him based on his description. It seemed more like a request to this artist than a commission.

Matsuno also both liked and commented on a picture of a modded male au ra to seem like a male viera, so it's quite likely male viera will be reworked male au ra with elegant animations, a similar body type and bunny earsOn the topic of Amazonian hunters, extrapolating a build from them, when they’re not solitary hunters like Viera males, who function in an environment which could have much more protein available in addition to that, isn’t going to yield any reliable conclusions.

If you speak fluent Japnese why not ask Matsuno? He's very friendly and may be willing to respond in regards to his mental image on the height of a male Viera.I'm absolutely fine with people saying I'd like "this" rather than "that". I don't have enough posts in the day, certainly not right now, to explain to you what a joke, or for that matter sarcasm is.Before you pipe up with maybe saying I'm 'ignorant' or various other words of this ilk, I'd like to point out I get the reference to Conan in the statement you say but "he-man aesethetic"?
I could of understood a reference to Dolph Lundgren in is portrayal of He-Man in the live action movie way back when.
Eh, I'll guess I will start telling people I'm 'totally in the barbie aesthetic' when talking in terms of physique.
I understand if you may feel strongly about the he-man comment. If you are questioning, curious, or simply in the closet about your sexuality.. it is okay! It is 2019, wear it with pride! There is nothing wrong with being gay, whether you are or not, but if you are honesty is probably the best release for it. You will end up feeling better in the end for it!
