Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

The development team have already told people not to get their hopes up. We might yet see the missing genders added at some point in the future. Equally, though, we might not. There's clearly some demand for them but demand does not equal 'definitely happening' and I don't want to see people blaming the development team if it does not happen. It just isn't a priority at the moment for them.

Also, be patient? You are expecting ppl to be calmly and patiently waiting for 4 years for something that all the way back on 1.0 they were told they weren't gonna have to wait for ? (yes, they said no genderlocked races)

if the devs don't give us the missing genders at 6.0 there will be another massive uproar, and it's the devs themselves who got this upon themselves.

Now that I'm not busy, I want to comment directly about these parts. They had specifically said in the past that if they did female viera, they'd do a different male race. This was said way back. You set an expectation for yourself and when you ignored reason, you got upset at the devs. This was said AFTER the no gender lock comment. Just because you want and hope for something does not guarantee it will happen. This is important to understand. I am hopeful male viera will happen, but I'm setting realistic expectations.

The last part is just a childish ultimatum. Please don't try to drag everyone in this thread down with you.

I'm completely sure thwy will make everything from scartch when they already have the textures, base faces, ears, tails and body models for 2 new races. In fact, the 2 new models will start as a texture-less ball. Then, you are nobody to tell me that I can't complain about something in the game. If hrotgar was female only, and viera male only, I bet most of the nay sayers would be the ones complaining. Also, I pain the community in a horrible light? I really am surprised I have that much influence under a community. Seriously, this is not a reality show, so stop acting like if it was one. I have not said anything disrespectful to you on my last post, and I apologize if I do come as aggressive for some reason, but can you please save the attacks? I'm honestly growing quite tired of ppl on this thread attacking me every single time I say something. And ofc, not everything is a personaly attack on me, I know that

You're the one making assumptions and being aggressive. You know what happens when you're aggressive? People stop being kind in return.

Neither you nor I can guarentee what they are going to do with male viera and female hrothgar. We don't work for SE. You can't possibly be completely sure. As for the sarcasm, do you see how it's hard to take you seriously and not aggressively? As for the rest, calling me a "nobody" just proves that you're going to be aggressive no matter what I say. You continue to make the assumption that if male Hrothgar wasn't included that I'd start whining. As I've stated for you on countless occasions, I would not take it as a sleight against me and would proceed to make a male viera if their aesthetic is something I liked. Ok then, so, you give your opinion, I give mine, and you start attacking me. Then, I respond and suddenly I am the ture attacked who showed his true colors, who is playing the victim and I called you a troll or waved your opnion as unimportant? I literally said that I do expect male viera at 6.0, and that I bet that you wouldnt like to have to wait 4 years for the race/gender combo you wanted. How offensive.

In some ways this thread is the gift that just keeps on giving.

My stance hasn't changed, though. I'd like to see the missing genders added at some point but if they aren't, I'm not too bothered. I'd urge others to adopt a similar stance to avoid disappointment. Desperately checking every day for a new sign that they're to be added isn't healthy and will just lead to contempt towards the game.

The development team aren't making any promises. It might not even be a high priority for them when weighed against future plans for the game.

I dont. I was one of those who supported this thread from the beginning, I told people to stop the wishful thinking and to keep up the facts, but this thread reached now 650 pages? Its all good and great, but reading the posts just makes me facepalm. Sorry, but if this is how people behave and demand something this crazy, then sorry. My support ends here and I do not have a problem to be against it. If SE implements them now, those very same people will make same entitled demands on the forums. This will just keep going til they get what they want. And I for myself, do not support such behavior.

This thread isnt a support thread since long ago.
