Is this dungeon final boss theme? or just battle theme? as one will be played at end of every dungeon and the latter could be anywhere in 5.0.

I hope its the latter as a final dungeon boss theme i feel it lacks oomph but as a basic battle theme its alright kinda wish the guitar wasn't so overpowering the vocals/chant

Supposedly, it's the basic overworld battle theme. I actually like the Dungeon Final Boss theme but I agree with you. What makes me dislike this so much is the fact that that guitar at the beginning is grating.

Ah then i doubt i'll get too annoyed at it since be trying to kill before the fights get too far into it :P

I think so far guitar is going to be prominent in a lot of ShB soundtrack now hopefully its more on the main theme side rather than this side for me, i am fne with guitar being used i just think it is used poorly here its too overpowering to the melody and the vocal/chant that is trying to get through just can't, not Soken's best work but nowhere near his worst and i hope never to have to hear it again after 5.0 launches (it's SA hard mode theme, it just gives me a headache every time it is the only place i have ever muted my tv repeatedly due to the music since i started playing in 2.2).

I like the part that has the distorted vocals (here-ish)... The rest of it less so. I see myself turning it off pretty quickly tbh, especially when the open world themes we've gotten samples of sound so nice ^^;

It's going to feel really jarring to go from the ambient locale themes to this every time a mob aggros.

I kinda wish the music in the first half of the Job intro video would be the battle theme :3

Thankfully, we can turn that battle music off. I have mine off already anyway, but if I didn't, that would make me do it. It's definitely not up to the standards of the other music in the game, IMO.

I think its okay! I mean nothing is going to beat the Heavensward dungeon boss music in terms of battle music for me anyway. Even though this is the overworld music.
