yes definitely been couple of occasion where they have bitten off more than they can chew (eureka)
but i don't think that's generally a bad thing they want to go the extra mile for fans even if its a struggle

Honestly, I think that for instance with giving 2 races instead of one, they eneded up not pleasing nearly as many people as if they had only did 1, and that is due to 2 reasons:
1-Many players are heavily let down by the fact that they won't be able to play as the gender they want of their race, which as we have seen has cause heavy commotion on the community and a large amount of backlash, even causing them to consider adding the other genders, which would have not happened had they only done 1
2-The fact that the heads are so different means that not only do they have limited customization (female viera's customization is ok, could certainly use more diverse hairstyles, but male hrotgar customization is perhaps the worst customization we have in the game, based on not being able to even choose something as basic as hair) and that they will not be able to wear various types of headgear, which will specially affect new players that might think: Why can a female miqote wear a hood but my female viera can't?!
I agree 100% I’m not hating that we got hrothgar but do you really think all this drama would of happened if we just got viera? No. Mostly everyone knew it was viera. We didn’t even know hrothgar existed so everyone was just expecting viera, not including leaks.Honestly, I think that for instance with giving 2 races instead of one, they eneded up not pleasing nearly as many people as if they had only did 1, and that is due to 2 reasons:

Just because its not good now doesn't mean its not gonna be good at launch. You have to realize that there are going to be a bunch of new hair styles that are probably gonna be in the Aesthetician that are not in the CC in the benchmark for both Viera and Hrothgar.
Plus there was close to nobody complaining when viera were announced. The only complaint (which is the biggest complaint ever to have been on the game so far) is about the absence of the missing genders, specially male viera probably due to the fact that the female viera were showed earlier
Also, regardin the post before the one I quoted, I don't see the reason why they would limit those to the asthetician

I know this is double posting and all, but I'm currently unable to edit and I don't see a reason to wait until I get to my house (which will take a long time) to ask this, so:
Has there been any questions regarding male viera and female hrotgar, or the new races in general on the media tour?

Not that I've seen although I haven't read all of them. Media Tour is still too early after JP Fan Fest and especially after the Live Letter so any response we got on the topic would be the same as in the LL.I know this is double posting and all, but I'm currently unable to edit and I don't see a reason to wait until I get to my house (which will take a long time) to ask this, so:

There's likely nothing about them in the media tour because they're irrelevant to Shadowbringers launch. We know they're not arriving with 5.0 - and the people expecting every new interview to mention them are setting themselves up for disappointment.
Yoshi-P has already made an official statement on the matter. They're simply not a priority for now. When the expansion has launched and the development team has a bit more breathing room, they may begin development on them. Yet even then, it isn't guaranteed.
If we get them, we get them. If we don't, we don't.
We know they aren't arriving at 5.0, but we also know there's a possibility they come at 5.x-6.0 (althoug 5.x is quite unlikely) and I think people might have been instructed not to ask this questions. I expect that on interviews after the launch of shadowbringers the question will get asked a decent bitThere's likely nothing about them in the media tour because they're irrelevant to Shadowbringers launch. There's no questions because they've made their point pretty clear I think, it was pretty much as was rationally expected. Not many interviews after initial response and most likely a lot of fan questions, the issue really is whether the dev team has the desire to fix issues they seem to be having with gear. I think there's a good chance of this happening SOMEWHERE down the line if their vision of "Perfecting" what they already have includes updating systems, of course it could be the counter that fixing the issue with gear might just be out of the realm of what they can do with a 2nd generation MMO and might have to wait for a 3rd generation MMO instead. We know they aren't arriving at 5.0, but we also know there's a possibility they come at 5.x-6.0 (althoug 5.x is quite unlikely) and I think people might have been instructed not to ask this questions. That being said I think the chance of them releasing in 5.x is really really generous, that would imply they've solved this issue by the time the expansion has launched and it's cut down on race development time by something of upwards to 9 or 10 months. I think 6.0 is more reasonable if they fix this issue mid 5.x like 5.3/5.2 and it can cut down on 6 months of development because of this.
