If you don't think that male viera in that picture is slim, then I'd say it's your definition of slim that's odd lol

'Slim' is a term better suited to men and women without any strong muscle definition and I generally don't lean on ridiculously oversized proportions along the lines of Roegadyn when making comparisons as to what is considered to be muscular. Some of the art you have posted throughout the thread has also been of the kind without any notable muscle definition, hence my confusion!

If you're fine with the level of bulk and height displayed in Matsuno's commission, however, we're on the same page.

Matsuno-san also retweeted some "slim" (kind of) fanart too though, so I would say that he is quite open about how they could look. Seems he is just excited about the fact that people speculate about mViera ahah. I wonder if he would play one by himself? XD

I really really want the fur patch on their chest so I really hope it’s at least an option in the “face features” and with the drawing, I like the build but I hope I can make him a bit more dominant and handsome (similar to miqote but maybe a bit older?) also I hope we have hairstyles and can also change the ear size and not get bummed out with how hrothgar options were. Idk if female viera could wear any hair style but seemed like it couldn’t. Kinda disappointed in the Fran one (I love it) but now kinda seems like we won’t get hats at all. Some hats would look really cool (dun scaith healer hat) would look like a white rabbit/mad hatter with the ears poking out. So disappointed that it won’t happen because they won’t make ears pop out of the hats unless theres already holes.

Now I'm confused. Male Miqo'te have quite wide age gap in their face types, you know? There is a teen-type face (G'raha Tia used it), ~18+ y.o. type face (Mugear_Bahamut uses it as far as I can see under his eye bondage), ~25+ y.o. type face (the one you and me use) and ~35+ y.o. type face (X'rhun Tia from RDM quest line uses it). So.... older than which one?

As for fur, would be good to have it as optional feature, but not as permanent one, in my own preferences, but that's not up to me to decide anyway. x)

So the artist that Matsuno asked to draw male Viera finished drawing. While Matsuno didn't specify any height range I'd say it's pretty close. The feedback was also just "GJ" so there's no telling if it's exactly what he wanted.

The fact that you've been posting buff bulky men means we haven't been on the same page this entire time. I would not fantasia to viera if it looked like the pictures you've been posting.

However, if you're cool with slim male viera we all saw in Matsuno's/minafumi's tweet, then I'm in agreement with you for once. Like I said before, it looks similar to omega m's physique, and I've been consistent in saying I want something like that.

I have consistently asked for a muscle slider to be added. One that allows for a decent range of bulk. I believe such would allow for a broad range of players to be appeased.

Thankfully there seems to be quite a bit of overlap between how both Yoshi-P and Matsuno envision Viera men. They are likely to be tall, handsome with masculine features and a chiseled boxer's physique.

Thinking on it, perhaps the art itself should be added to the original post along with links to official statements made by Yoshi-P and Matsuno on the subject of Viera men? It would help keep the relevant statements close to hand and those dropping into the thread for the first time would be able to catch up more easily.
