Also I think I should have made it clear in my post they should OBVIOUSLY only do that if they want to use hat as the announcement for the thing when they are 100% sure they can release them in a maximum period of 2 years (don't feast something and make ppl wait 4 years for it, and obviously if u ain't gonna do it don't say u will)

Even if they knew they could be a thing in 6.0, I doubt they'd do that. Why spoil a surprise best saved for Fan Fest?

That is a fair point and I myself expect them not to say anything until a fanfest (hopefully NA, but most likely JP) and it's not that wise to confirm them now considering most ppl will expect something that's confirmed to come super fast, and if it takes them 2 years for example a decent chunk would get mad once again

At this point I feel like the people complaining about all the "whiny SJWs with an LGBTQ+ agenda" are reacting based off of other posts by detractors saying that it's out of control and not actually reading the thread or seeing many (or any) of those posts themselves. Because I swear to god I've seen maybe a handful of posts that are anything like that (and they were almost all from the initial uproar) but it still gets brought up like every two pages by people looking to devalue a feedback thread.

My feedback is and has always has been that I'd like to see the other genders implemented. Resource limitations, workload concerns, whether putting support behind an idea makes us entitled or whiny, if we have some kind of agenda, if we're a bunch of sexual deviants who will ruin this wholesome game with beast women and attractive men, if the concept we're supporting will actually be profitable for SE, if the other genders will add anything of intrinsic value or variety to the game, if we shouldn't have expected the other genders in the first place/don't deserve to be disappointed, for me none of that has anything to do with my basic desire for every race in this game to have two gender options and is for dev team to evaluate for themselves and make a decision on. I will continue to ask for it until the day they say that they cannot and will not ever be able to implement them, because it's something I would like to see in the game plain and simple.

I think jiraffes being ugly is one of he main reasons why ppl want male viera, I myself just want a handsome elegant male character and the viera is a super cool race imo. It must be so good to be able to play as a viera with your preferred gender for those who play female characters I guess

In all seriousness though, Ugly is super subjective. Personally I find the Viera to be a little smush faced and the ears are super jarring with their current placement on the head (apparently they have holes through their brains for their aural channels).

Not to spam posts but I didnt see this till after I posted my first one. Yes I would like any race option that was better proportioned than the Elezen, the reason so many of us are wanting Viera specifically is because its a race in the FF world that already fits this desire. There was also a lot of hope for it when we saw that Fran was in the game, but I am willing to admit that our hoping for something doesn't mean the Dev team made a promise of some kind. I am also not angered or upset as much as I just feel disappointed. I was really hoping to change into something other than Hyur but of the options available to me its still whats best for me, which is kind of like a best of the worst kind of thing. I am also not looking forward to being surrounded by thousands upon thousands of Viera women this entire expansion.
