Imagine a world, where any person with a computer could simply put in the hundreds of man-hours necessary to learn to do 3D modeling and create whatever view they want, and instead of whining that someone else do it for free or detract from other tasks they are paid to do to cater to them, they just put in the hundreds to thousands of man hours themselves and modded it in.

Oh wait... sorry past 30-50 years... we could already do that... my bad.

If you want your (insert race/clan/sex here) to wear (insert item(s) here) then go learn how to do it yourself, mod it in, and Voila... got exactly what you want at no cost to anyone! Since according to you people's time and effort are worth nothing so might as well spend your own worthless currency. Win for everyone!

On a more serious note, to prevent the need for excessive redesigning in a T rated game's gear, you would nearly have to eliminate most revealing and form fitting gear. Since T/PEGI-13 rating restrictions and international laws pertaining to such content being so varied would eliminate it. They could also remove the height/bust sliders to DRASTICALLY reduce the workload, bust slider is partially done already by effectively using value ranges assigned to a chunk of presets for most gear. The primary ways to maintain the patch cycle and give out more gear alterations would be reducing the amount of alterations needed for each piece of gear, in which case reducing the race count and height options would go a long way. I'd rather have more options for my character themselves than for their equipment.

There's better arguments for removing or no longer making non-combat practical equipment, since our player characters are primarily posited as adventurers who make a living in perilous conditions. A dress can be many things, but combat practical they are generally not.
