If every tank right now has a tank stance, does that not mean they are already homogenized? The truth is this game is very... single path..? Every Job is expected to perform within single digits of disparity. If one job does 10% more damage than the rest, it better offer zero utility.

Right now, Stances seem to just force all tanks that want to be optimal to do some stance dancing. At the same time, it's been argue healing is too easy in this game. Would it not be more interesting if they just increase tank damage, make offensive tank stance the default, and make healers work a bit harder?

I recall there being a healing and a dps stance for healers too, no? That also got removed, the world didn't end because of it.

Whatever they do with tanks, I feel getting rid of tank stances is a smart choice. I just wonder what would that mean for Warriors, who's abilities basically completely transform on each stance. What set of abilities will be lose? Or will we have access to all of them at once? Longer combos? very curious about that.
