    I'm all for those types of changes. What I am against is making the msq non essential to the game. I should not be able to level quickly like in WoW and completely steam through a zone and making the story there irrelevant. Minimzing how many times I need to see Minifilia per quest line? Most definitely. But having the core story there should remain mandatory. Period.

    But at the same time the sprinkling of perfume on chocobos is nowhere as painful if the character can level at a good pace. Se has more or less made it to where you stick on the msq you will be ready for each dungeon that comes up. Now I'm not stuck and doomed to fate grind or dps que so I can talk to Minfilia so I can do more pointless crap.

    I also don't understand why ppl wanna fixiate on the quest slog as if its the worse part of arr. The worst part to me is all the classes have been gutted since arr making any fight I do whether it be I'm fighting a rabbid squirrel in the shroud or fighting a boss, its guaranteed to be boring. If anything, se needs to allocate our skills so classes are more complete by 50 and then slow down on learning skills. Bc nothing is worse than getting a dungeon and you have two options to use to deal damage.

    But sure, its the msq that is the issue. Let's go with that narritive.

    why? you can literally skip cutscene everything and have no idea whats going on in the story already, this would just not make you have to do the footwork. In what way does it ruin the game for some players to not do it?

    i dont see why the game needs everyone to complete story. I think this is a big issue for friends bringing people in.
