agree, outsider should not allow to gain anything from hunt mark on other server, before server cross happen, hunt train was very organized in my server, adamantoise, ppl just spread out and find all the mark, write down their positon before form a train and go kill them in a circle

since the sever cross happen, hunt train is very chao, to the point that i stop joining them since i feel that just a waste of time

If it's one person, tell the others on your server to git gud. Hundreds to thousands of "hunters" across the data center unable to compete with a single player lol

It's great when people wait for others to group up before a pull but honestly nobody is entitled to the kill. It's not reserved for anyone's chopping board. If someone reaches the hunt before you and pulls it then I say fair game. If someone pulls it while you are there and waiting for others to group up, the same point applies. Is it considered bad manners? Depends on who you ask I suppose. Personally I believe this sense of entitlement needs to die and burn in a fire. People are willing to hop worlds to find hunts while others sit on their ass waiting for a shout in linkshell and then cry when they get beaten to the punchline.

The problem, at least on Crystal DC, is that some of the insta-puller players use a third party tool that automatically notifies them when and exactly where S ranks spawn. They will always beat legitimate players to those spawns and pull them instantly. It's not like the other players aren't trying to get there - are you suggesting that they should also cheat in order to make it to the spawns?

I agree that nobody is entitled to a hunt, but wouldn't you agree that if someone puts in the work to spawn a hunt (like completing FATEs for an hour in Southern Thanalan) then the spirit of hunts is that they should be able to get to it and get credit for attacking it before someone else attacks and kills it?

SE indicated they intend to make them fates sometime during 5.x. They are quite understandably too busy with the expansion to do it right now.

To be clear on this he just pondered out loud some possible things that could be changed when questioned about it, but didn't yet commit to any kind of change.
Personally I'm not sure I'd like a fate system but I wouldn't be strongly against it. They could just bulk up older hunts because let's be honest, those lv50 ones are killed almost exclusively by level-cap players, not lv50 players. Soon it's going to be lv80-IL500 people mowing down old hunt targets.
