Is there a generally regarded "normal" price for stuff like crafted gear and infusions?
Because 200K for the former and 2.5K for the latter feels like it's leaning into the "not profitable for people who don't bot" territory to me.

Generally if the selling price isn't more than the combined sell to vendor price of the mats and a little extra for labor..then it's not profitable. Otherwise you're just arguing over how MUCH margin there should be.
What % of the cost in margin do YOU think is fair?
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?

Default sale price x 100 is my usual rule of thumb for deciding on a fair price, unless the market is way out from that.

Potions and raid food aren't worth it except maybe right when they first come out. It simply takes too much time to craft enough of them. I'd do 200k on Balmung for crafted gear if I was bored though. Mats generally cost 60-70k to buy off the MB, so you can still get a decent margin. They're just not the best use of time, but typically I want a mix of slower and faster selling things anyway, so if I'm playing the game a lot, I'll do more inefficient things without a second thought.
