I feel like an increase in the drop rate of the totem/nut items will suffice until a better lotting system is implemented. I expected the totems/nuts to have a higher drop rate from the weapons at least.

While we are at it, could we not just have the weapons delivered to our inventories the moment the patch goes live?
Thanks SE
Once? no. But having to do it upward of 20 times for a single weapon....when SOO many people have every damn job maxed out seems stupid. i would rather a 10-15 totems fora weapon, which is 100% for 1 each fight, and on top of that a small chance of a weapon itself dropping. Some people may have done these to death and dont mind pooling off their totems, but if a group of people, all who have not gotten any get together, they arent all going to want to pass them.
So either way your still fighting it over 10x....for only 1 guaranteed weapon.
I know, right? All these idiots want to have everything HANDED to them. I, for one, think you should have to fight Ifrit at least 100 times before you get your hands on a weapon. You should have to prove you're capable of defeating the fight (100 times)
The fact that people are agreeing with you while you are very clearly being intentionally obtuse is saddening.
I agree. If totems were 100%. Or the dude receiving an weapon or a totem. If it was the case, then increase the number of totems needed...but 100% drop rate when you get no weapon is a must.
If that's the case, we could have some other minor prizes, like a "ifrit horn" (crafting material), maxed tier IV materias, rare/EX accessories...stuff that aren't THAT good but that don't leave you with the wasted time feeling.
