Feature Request: Display Other Players' Mounts As Chocobos

Just close your eyes or get over it. Mounts are really only a 'problem' when a new one comes out and everyone wants to show off that they got it. Besides that, it's usually people just going about their business. Don't be so rude. Some people worked really hard for their favourite mount and for you to be like "ugh hide it I don't like it" just because they happen to be sitting in one place is pretty self-centered and you could just not look at them.

But if you're getting that feature, can I have the one that makes it so I never see your in the game or the forums? You disrupt my experience in the game, so.

This is way more trouble than it's worth to implement.

I'd rather have the developers spend their time on actual useful features and not something as extremely worthless as this.

You already have this feature. Its called "block".

I like the variety of mounts, everyone at first always uses the newest mount, but then goes back to their favourites. So lots of different ones to see

Completly invisible doesn't work in this forum but you can block every post he writes, closest thing to make him invisible for you. Either you take it or not.

An easier fix would be something like what was done in WoW a while back... When you get so close to some NPC characters you're auto dismounted. They could make it so when you entered the area where those vendors are that you just get dismounted. You're still able to use mounts out in the open in Rhalgr's.

If you walk into the building in Idyllshire where the main vendors are then you get dismounted. This could be customized to only effect some areas and not others.

My boyfriend was wanting this put in as well but I told him I really don't ever see SE doing it. They rely on the cash shop and plenty of people's motivation in game is to farm and acquire mounts to show it off

I dont care either way, personally I love seeing all the different mounts. I'm boring and just use my legacy chocobo.

Aside from multi seater mounts, I see no real problem with the idea...

But it's not really all that necessary, as you do have options of "Target Nearest NPC or Object" and hiding player names.
