Are treasure map rigged ?

Hello, so here is my concern, i played the game 6month agodoing maps,and the loot were decent,took a break,came back and WTF:

1month im doing those maps,not a single minion droped,not a single furniture droped,only some tissue,

Even the door opening and the roulette thing are just awfull,its closer to 70/80% kick than opening.

So,did it change during a patch or something ?cause something clearly change during my break,maps are not even worth doing.

The RNG can be really unfair sometimes. When doing maps it's best to do as many as you can.

Your personal experience is way to small as a sample size to claim that.

One thing did change though: the loot tables, since they added new drops to the maps. I'm not keeping close track of those, but it is possible that certain drops that used to be rare 6 months ago got moved to "earlier" treasure chests within the canals to make room for new rare drops in the later ones - so now more drops would be "competing" for those first chests.

Generally speaking though, even considering changing loottables: One person having a string of bad luck, even for a month isnt fishy - its RNG. (the question would also be: how many maps are you even doing in a month? If you're not investing any gil the maximum amount of maps you can single handedly gather in 30 days are 40 maps - in the light of the total amount of maps gathered by the community and in the light of RNG 40 is nothing. RNG doesnt work like "1 out of 7 is going to be a hit, I missed 6 so far so the next one has to be it or its rigged!")

I did a map run with friends and in the first few hours everyone got a portal. Then, after that, six different people opened 2 maps each and no one got a portal. Does that mean that maps are rigged? Probably not. It's rng working as it should: by being an ass.
