Miqo'tes' looks stop aging at about 20. It's actually in the lore.

They still age, but their looks remain young.

Unfortunately it seems I am unable to find the source of this info. However, that's how the Mithra were in FFXI.

She does have wrinkles not seen on other miqote though, so she shows some age :P same with M'naago's moon kitty mother.

After reading everything thought, maybe they were talking about padjals and not the miqo'tes ? It is true that padjals remain young (E-Sumi-Yan does mention in the DRK quests that he is 'twice Sidurgu's age at least' and in the Encyclopedia, it is mentioned that he is over 100 years old because he stopped counting after that).
