I'm aware of such threads, but again we should be cautious to distinguish what comes up on the forum frequently with what the general playerbase would want to see. The same goes even for this topic, but if we're comparing like for like...

That being said I really don't think people who play males already would be as interested in "an other tall pretty male but with bunny ears" as you think. But that's beside the point really.

I mean, if you're going off forum requests, Viera males have by far surpassed any requests for beastmen. This thread alone has a huge amount of likes. In terms of any polling conducted, they beat them out. Even if you look at the %s of beastmen played in other MMOs, they tend to be a minority and this is even in such games where they're better designed and have a stronger lore presence.

I don't know why you think race additions can't be profitable, though. Firstly, in terms of fantasia purchases and secondly given that they may entice players who were on the fence but like the race design enough to now play, which is what I believe they're aiming at with Hrothgar. If they manage to captivate more players or attract the sort of players who are willing to invest in purchases for glamours for their characters (and this will include the Viera), I see no reason why it could not yield a return on investment. They're not running a charity, so what would be the point of adding a new race if not player retention and/or addition?

Post count is generally meaningless. What's important is to look at is the number of likes, which is the highest the official forums has even seen.

In what way have a trolled? I think you coming in here and erroneously citing viera lore with "males never existed" is more trolling than anything else.

Either way that completely disregards the 1600 unique likes and the 5000+ signs that the petition has, unless you seem to think I'm controlling multiple sock puppet accounts all at the same time.

It's true that the same few people keep posting but, again, post count doesn't matter. I think it's fine to keep posting art just btw
and kind of on a side note, make sure to credit the artists. I didn't think about that before but it's important to do.
