GM's are under a strict policy of never sharing the punishment or letting you know that corrective action was taken against the offender. Why you lying, gurl.it IS covered by the rules... if not, then why would the player i reported get issued a warning? i reported someone a couple days ago, with video linked to. they responded to my report and said the player was issued a warning. should i happen catch this behavior again to make another report and the player would punished. if it wasn't against the rules, then it wouldn't be punishable.

Sometimes GM's can screw up and tell you something they aren't supposed to. It happened to me in World of Warcraft. It may have happened here too for all we know. Just because they aren't supposed to do or say something doesn't mean they won't by accident, they are, afterall, human.
I'm pretty sure that the GM's here have their prefabricated answers or prefabricated textblocks because their answers are always the same. I also doubt that a GM will make such a big mistake.Sometimes GM's can screw up and tell you something they aren't supposed to. It happened to me in World of Warcraft. They are human for sure, but when considering a choice between the OP exaggerating a bit to lend perceived credence to their complaint vs a GM suddenly forgetting company policy.... I am going to have to go with the OP exaggerating.Sometimes GM's can screw up and tell you something they aren't supposed to. It happened to me in World of Warcraft. While it is unlikely they would say such a thing it also cannot be ruled out. As I mentioned before, they are human and we humans make mistakes. Just because a person doesn't want to believe it doesn't mean it didn't happen. I also don't see what benefit it would be for the OP to make up a lie to tell to a bunch of strangers that she will most likely never meet in real life. I've been in the position of the OP, being accused of lying when I didn't so I simply don't see why the OP would set herself up for that. Again, just to make it clear, I'm not saying the OP isn't lying, I am simply pointing out that there is a possibility that she isn't.

Reality is, report communication with GMs is via form letter. They would have somehow had to have forgotton to use a form letter and then on top of it forget that they don't mention discipline. It didn't happen. You can keep saying "but it could!", but that won't change anything. While it is unlikely they would say such a thing it also cannot be ruled out. Has this ever been publicly stated? If not than your claim is just an assumption in which case you still cannot say it never happened. If it has been stated publicly than I would A, like to see it and B, retract my statement. Assuming they use form letters without any proof does not make it true.Reality is, report communication with GMs is via form letter. Well 1 you can ask a GM. They talk outside of customer service speak. You could 2, report an RMT bot right now spamming in chat and it will tell you then and there. Also 3, I have reported people for sexual harassment before. You get an automated response after speaking with the GM via the service desk and never ever ever does it say what happened to the other person. And if a screenshot was provided, there would be evidence. Until evidence for that is provided, the simplest solution isn't that the GM screwed up; it's that OP isn't telling the truth regarding their interaction with the GM.Sometimes GM's can screw up and tell you something they aren't supposed to.
