Yes, yes, there are people doing that - but they don't influence which raid you end up in nearly as much as you seem to imagine they do.true and true. but there are indeed those out there manipulating the roulette for the sole purpose of just getting a mindlessly easy run. i know this because of seeing a player strip down right in front of my character during the Ready call. it is what prompted me to come make this thread.
In short, what you are complaining about is not an actual problem for anyone - including you.
This is a thread OP lol. If you feel like the roulette is being manipulated and as such you can't do relevant content then just queue for what you want. The main purpose of the roulette is to help new people get through old content and rewards a ton of xp. I mean if I want a token from Ridorana wtf would I use the roulette? I wont get any xp and barely any tomes to make rolling that dice worth it. If you think using the Roulette will save you time that's just silly. Queue for the 3 raids you need get your tokens and be done.
I do shit like this all the time if I don't feel like doing certain content, who are you to tell me I should have to run it? Maybe I'm a returning player trying to brush up on my skills and don't want to run the hardest alliance raid? If you want to run the hardest content, que directly for it.
GM's are under a strict policy of never sharing the punishment or letting you know that corrective action was taken against the offender. Why you lying, gurl.it IS covered by the rules... if not, then why would the player i reported get issued a warning? i reported someone a couple days ago, with video linked to. they responded to my report and said the player was issued a warning. should i happen catch this behavior again to make another report and the player would punished. if it wasn't against the rules, then it wouldn't be punishable.
Sometimes GM's can screw up and tell you something they aren't supposed to. It happened to me in World of Warcraft. It may have happened here too for all we know. Just because they aren't supposed to do or say something doesn't mean they won't by accident, they are, afterall, human.
I'm pretty sure that the GM's here have their prefabricated answers or prefabricated textblocks because their answers are always the same. I also doubt that a GM will make such a big mistake.Sometimes GM's can screw up and tell you something they aren't supposed to. It happened to me in World of Warcraft. Yeah but that was WoW.Sometimes GM's can screw up and tell you something they aren't supposed to. It happened to me in World of Warcraft. It may have happened here too for all we know. Just because they aren't supposed to do or say something doesn't mean they won't by accident, they are, afterall, human.
They are human for sure, but when considering a choice between the OP exaggerating a bit to lend perceived credence to their complaint vs a GM suddenly forgetting company policy.... I am going to have to go with the OP exaggerating.Sometimes GM's can screw up and tell you something they aren't supposed to. It happened to me in World of Warcraft. It may have happened here too for all we know. Just because they aren't supposed to do or say something doesn't mean they won't by accident, they are, afterall, human.
Rules do not care about your feelings.
And no, an exaggerated interpretation of the rules does not make it the rules.
Just queue for the raid you want to do. No, seriously. Full stop! If you want gear from a raid, do that raid. No, there is nothing else. I don't care about how often something might pop up or anything. Go do the raid if you want that gear. FULL STOP. Other people abusing the system won't affect you and doesn't even matter.
