It cost them nothing to show what they like. And the team will do as they please as well.
If you don't do a thing because it's "meaningless'' you won't do anything.
It won't hurt anybody to post some art ^^

I was thinking more in terms of requesting them to be added in terms Yoshi found off-putting in the first place. That said, I don't think it will stop them from adding them, if they want to at this stage... but it must surely give the impression "yeah, that's exactly why we didn't consider them in the first place..."
