I wonder if there'll be a customization option for ear damage. Cuz for the females too, but all the more for the males, those long, vulnerable appendages sure are at risk

Hopefully. I wouldn't use it myself, though more options in regards to scars and the like would be welcome. On that note, more facial tattoos/tribal paints would be a wonderful addition too.

To be honest, other than the ears, I'd really prefer they give the males options for chest fur and/or facial hair, more options is always better and if we cannot agree on a body type, at least let those who wish to make their boys more 'masculine' to have the option to do so and vice versa for those who'd prefer their boys to be more on the feminine/androgynous side.

I think it depends on what the artist is getting paid for exactly. I've seen other artists getting paid for touching up models from existing games before as portraits and profile pictures. It's usually the person purchasing the commission who provides a screenshot of their model. In this case, I don't know.

It still wouldn't be that hard to crop the bottom few pixels to remove the obvious COPYRIGHT BY SQUARENIX watermark on the image. Especially for content that *doesn't exist* in the game to keep people from assuming that exists and getting their hopes up.

If you think they should have cropped it, fair enough. Maybe they should have. To me, it's pretty obvious it's a repaint/edit. All I'm saying is it's not uncommon for people to charge for repaint/edits. It doesn't necessarily mean the artist is charging for the character model itself or background.

Its most likely a mod the person has installed (mods are against the rules) mods that most likely replace one of the hairstyles and another that probably replaces the gold saucer bunny ears with Viera ones or maybe one that edits what ever race they are to have the ears. Which most likely were ripped from the Fran model.

The content exists its just rule breaking content you have to get from a third party(ffxiv textools and their discord)
