Its a pretty well accepted notion in this game's community that the elezen running animations are pretty bad, even Square said they wanted to redo them at some point. I'm just pointing out that the time should be now, while they've got these other races they're adding. They should really fix what's broken before adding new races, it seems pretty unfair to elezen players who've been waiting years to not run like an automaton. You are probably just used to them the way they are, but take a few close looks at the other girls running animations and then compare them to female elezen...they look like they are constipated, or like their run wasn't made by a human and was instead some kind of generic animation in blender or something like that. Its very low quality compared to its counterparts.

I also agree on this, the uguu kawaii run of female midlanders is really bad too, which is exceedingly disappointing because this is the same series with cool female characters like Lightning, who in FFXIV would translate to a midlander...yet you can't make a cool tomboy like Lightning because a character like her would never flail her arms about like a teenage school girl running on her toes. It looks ridiculous and it sucks you can't look like a cool soldier midlander girl because of it.

I have a femidlander and I will fight tooth and nail for my late for school with toast in mouth run. It's cute, it's why I love it. SE can look forward to fantasia money from me if they ever changed it.
