Its time to fix Elezen

My issue isn't with their looks or their animations. The biggest problem with Elezen (more specifically males) in general is that there's very few armor sets that they genuinely look good in. Au Ra is kind of the same deal, also pertaining to males.

Do you mean armour specifically, or gear in general? Because that may be a matter of taste. Not sure about actual armour, but I think my Elezen mage/bard looks good in a lot of different costumes.

Male Au Ra are definitely harder to find nice outfits for, though.

It's not even the animations that bother me as I got used to them in the years I had a Dhamel. However if we're going to be cleaning them up a touch, I'd also like to recommend that they actually given Elezen women four proper face options to choose from as well. Quite literally speaking for those who aren't aware Elezen women have essentially two base faces to pick from - with two extras that basically just have makeup slapped on that . They try to hide it when you're picking between them by making one of the presets have a slightly different nose and lips from it's make-up wearing counterpart; but playing around with their face options shows they're the same template and have the same options.

While I do agree that the whole elezen race could use a total overhaul to bring it up to par with the others races, I'd more than settle for just this small fix. If we can even get SE to do this one thing, maybe we can get them to do other things. It kinda demonstrates itself that Elezen were pretty phoned in way back in the day...but back then the game had a lot larger concerns. Its been years and its overdue to finally have this fixed, especially because if they can find the time to make brand new animations for new races, they can find the time to fix elezen animations.

On a business level it'd also be a great idea for them, because they'd essentially gain a huge wave of people doing fanta into elezen without the work of having to have created a whole new race to achieve those fantas. Everyone wins!

I love Elezen to death but this is reason enough to fix it. They could at least give us four UNIQUE head bases to choose from.

I much prefer my fem elezen's current running animation to a female midlander's. Like, I cannot make myself play a female Midlander because that sprinting animation drives me insane. It might be okay if we don't get something like that wild arm flailing thing.

I don't see anything wrong with Elezen running. It's kind of elegant. What you might expect from an "Elf". I'm not going to cry if they change it.

I agree ! Haha I always like to think with my Elezen that he's simply too pompous to walk/run normally.

I despise Elezen animation. It’s awful. I always walk or run with my weapon out to change it. I really wish the animation would be based on attitude instead of race. I may play as an Elezen, but I don’t consider myself as posh and elegant, but more rough and tumble type that kicks ass and takes names! I mean think about it, do all Asians walk or run the same? Do Blacks? Whites? No each person moves based on their attitude or ability.
