Its time to fix Elezen

Instead of "changing" why can't we just ask for more? Some people like the way it is. Hell, even if they sold animation "personalities" on mogstation, people would buy them. I do think they should give every race new faces though. It's getting too long to keep the same 4 faces.

When they released Viera, it became extremely noticeable with the difference in quality of animations between them and Elezen especially. I think that Elezen should mostly remain the same, but they could really use with updated mocap. When you look at Viera emotes, they have such nuance and precise movements, their goodbye emote is especially telling with each finger moving for the wave. Compared to Viera, Elezen animations are extremely clunky and dated looking which is only emphasized by their long limbs. Their movements are not fluid and not "graceful" or "elegant" like some people have said, they are incredibly stiff and unnatural and it's because their mocap seems to have used much fewer joints.

The only other point of weirdness I personally think is the proportion of male elezen heads to shoulders and female elezens shoulder width. Male elezen heads are simply too small for their torsos, it makes it almost impossible to wear any of the shirtless tops or tops without high necks. Female elezens' upper torsos look very boxy and squared off on the shoulders, with strange right-angled gaps under their armpits instead of their arms being flush with their bodies.

I don't oppose the ideas of adding more options though I do not think we should be fundamentally altered.

Changing something to appeal to the people who don't play it instead of those who currently do sounds like a mistake to me.

I'd never turn down more /cpose options though, especially between genders of the same race. If they could add alternatives instead of replacing what we have that'd be ideal.

I understand than that seeing something like a miqo'te or another waifu (spelling?) race dressed in maid outfit as a DRK critiquing your race or even glamours is irritating to say the least, but perhaps a less aggressive comment would help people see you better on a eye to eye level?

well, it kinda makes sense for elezen to look kind of wonky, since they're the first race to come into existence. So all the other races are more evolved than the elezen basically, that's why they looked better and less gangly, etc. So from a lore point of view, it makes sense? Try to appreciate that sort of nuance. Let's not erase it.

Need more long hairstyle options for F Elezens then I be content. I know its hard to work such hairstyles but I want it. Especially Ysayle's long hair is nice and it makes her look so attractive. I have no problem with F Elezen's run animation but it looks bad when I use sprint. The hips sway way too much and looks very unnatural.
