Yeah and that pretty much killed the hype for hrothgar. The hrothgar population is going to be even smaller than the male roe population after the novelty wears off. It wasn't a good idea for hrothgar and it's not a good idea for male viera.

Granted I agree, which is why hearing Yoshida go on and on about how Viera would be Elezen with bunny ears makes me worry. Something, anything, to set them apart would be lovely. I do imagine their mannerism and body language would be different as Roes and Hroths do have that going for them, but I'd like to see more than just that. Like, Hroths are bigger, and have different posture. I should hope for at least more bulk for male Viera, if not other things.

My point was that if they're still working on the male Hrothgar before release, there's absolutely no way they would be able to complete the other genders for both before release. He said himself that they only got a working model to show recently, unlike Viera which they started making way earlier. Adding both genders to both races involves basically as much work as doing an entire new race (two more unique models), so if I had to guess we'll be getting them in 6.0(just speculation, i have no clue lol). Personally I think they're pretty cool and can't wait to see what all the options will be. And they are looking at feedback to see what changes could be made for improvements before release.

to be honest, even tho i love hrothgar, i feel like they need much more polish (i think they even are still working on them)
they should take their time with male viera/female hrothgar. better to get a good looking viera, but we get them a little bit later, than an unpolished/rushed race.
