Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

I don't know, that's kind of exactly what they did. There's a lot of negative feedback about what we did get, and Yoshida himself admitted they were really pressed for time with both female Viera and male Hroth. Which, more so than these particular races, is all around cause for concern regarding the state of the game imo

Idk, in my opinion the Viera look exactly as expected based on previous games. I realize a lot of people thought it would look different. To be honest I think even the male Hrothgar are not quite complete yet, seeing as how we haven't seen the canine options at all yet. No hope for more fur though, they did touch on that topic in the interview. But when they haven't been able to show us completed races yet and people expect them to literally do double the amount of work they did in the next two months to add two more unique models. It's a stretch. Just give them time, that's all I can say.

Just read this as well. I can't imagine Matsuno's image of them would be far off of this either, so I think its safe to assume that's what we'd get. Honestly, I think the Omega M model fits this pretty well? It's slim but not un-athletic, and it's neither too masculine nor too feminine. Smack on a couple different types of faces (a few softer options and a few more grizzled options) and you'll probably please more people than if they were small or too big.

I'm not really much of a forums guy but I would very much be happy with male Viera that are similar to Elezen but with less of an imperious look.

So please, i'm ok waiting if needed but I would be immensely saddened to not be able to play them at all.

He could be very serious in quoting it, but it's hard to say when the original post was meant to look silly. I'd imagine the actuality would be a more fit Elezen, but not an actual brick like the Highlanders lol
