Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

I understand the team needed to decide where to dedicate resources, but it's very disappointing to come across a genderlocked race in a high quality and immersive game such as XIV. I was looking forward to the XIV team making history and introducing the male Viera alongside their known, female counterparts. I would still love to see them make this happen and leave their mark in showing the world their vision for male Viera and allow the players to experience it themselves.

Yoshi-P often refers to XIV as a theme park. Here's an opportunity to break new ground!

Good to know they're already taking a look at the feedback and at least have some idea on how they'd like male Viera to look like. Personally hoping a body type like Omega M or some of the recently posted fanarts

Yes! That's just how I imagined them. I'd be very happy with this result if they were to be designed this way!

I'm not really much of a forums guy but I would very much be happy with male Viera that are similar to Elezen but with less of an imperious look.

So please, i'm ok waiting if needed but I would be immensely saddened to not be able to play them at all.

Personally, I'd like them to look somewhat similar to the females in the vein of "supermodel that could kill you"

Everybody seems to be forgetting that they just don't have the time right now to add the other genders. Shit, they're still working on completing the Hrothgar. At least they gave us two playable races, and I'm sure that down the road the other genders will get added just like they did for races in the past. At this point, if you wanted male viera and female hrothgar at release, we would be waiting another year to get Shadowbringers at all. It's not awesome to have to wait for something you're excited for, but if you'd rather not get anything at all that's on you. At least they aren't spitting half-assed, rushed models at us just to appease. Just my two cents on the topic.

There's no way they'll be able to complete the missing genders before the release of ShB, even if they wanted to. If it's to happen, we'll have to wait a bit. It's better than having it never happen at all, though!
