Why not donate your subs to those poor WoW players who have ACTUAL game breaking issues with the game they have devoted their lives to. I am sure they would be more than grateful to play ffxiv, a game with no serious issues in comparison to most other mmo's out there these days, that is why ffxiv is getting bigger and more popular as it moves forward. Quitting over cosmetics.............i mean if your going to do something like that then you would have stopped playing over any other stupid reason at some point or another anyway. You were never a real fan/player/supporter if this is how you were going to act over something like this in the first place . Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Whether you and others alike leave or not, the truth of the matter is this new expac will be a big success and probably have record high subs. Our game has been growing consistently over the years and it doesn't look like it will stop any time soon. My advice to you if you leave is find a game being run by devs that somehow are able to pander to every single minority in terms of content because that would be the miracle you need to satisfy yourself. Reality check, SE can't make every single player happy, no company can. What your claiming to look for doesn't exist and with that attitude you will never be happy.
