Which is funny, because in 1.0 we didn't have male miqo'te. Instead we had male-only highlanders and male-only roegadyn. But oh, would you look at that, after giving us male miqo'te they are actually more popular than the previously male-only races.

It's almost like the bigger, buffer male races are actually not what we most wanted to play after all.

Let's be clear. Male Viera would have been a much more popular choice among players than Hrothgar.
Yet, Yoshi P stated in Mr. Happy's interview "We did consider male Viera instead of adding and extra race, but we tried to take player feedback on adding a more beast like race". So there is a demand.

Just curious also how you knew the most played are midlanders, since the census we have only shows Hyur in general. And if you were to look at what female race players are also currently playing ,it's also the miqo'te. Could it be that not only the body type is what people are considering when playing these races? /think

So do you also consider nature sexist? Because let's take for example height. The average male height is higher than the female average height. The same thing can also be seen in the average muscle mass in both genders.
