Looking at all the jobs they've released so far, they sure don't go out of their way to displease dps playersThere are always going to be people that don't get what they want. It's literally impossible to please everyone. As a game dev you listen to community feedback, you take it into account, but you don't impanel the forums as part of the dev team.
Your monthly sub entitles you to access the game. You can give your feedback, you can give your opinions, and the dev team should read them. But they shouldn't be bound by what the forums think.
If we're being honest here, it's WAY easier to design a dps class than literally anything else. It's not about pleasing or displeasing dps players. It's about creating gameplay that's fun and different enough from what's already out there that it feels like this needed to be a new class instead of a modification on an existing one.
Thats because a majority of the players especially new ones will always choose a dps class until they get comfortable playing the game and learn more about it then they might branch out.
