Telling a person who is crying to stop is like telling an injured person to not bleed. You can't stop backlash for dumb decisions.Hi everyone.
So last night when i was finish watching the Fan fest, i was 200% hyped for the exp and damn i cant wait.
But this morning i read all the bad forum posts, comments and so on.
By people crying about not getting male or female. they feel entitled ! THEY NEED IT!
We knew that the bunny race had a chance they would be female only, so some wish for them to be male as well. Some of the frist things i see, is people brining real life stuff into this like beeing gay and so on, feel like the game is spitting on them.
Listen here. 90% of the play able races are feminine!.
The FFXIV devs, sounds and prove time and time agian that they make this game for the players and listen to the communitys on the good ideers !.
You are just lucky you have a dev team like this. Look at Wow, they dont listen to there community, and the game i trash, many of there subs are trying to find an new mmo, alot of them are even comming over here.
Stop crying, and just be happy that you have a nice team behind you that cares!
Im looking forward to shadowbringer, and finaly get a good race, Lions![]()
Hope you all have a nice day!
How DARE people be entitled thinking they deserve quality content they've asked for for years just because they're paying $12,99 every month.
Honestly they've got some nerve...
Oh I'll live to. I don't plan on roasting anyone on a fire. It's just disheartening to watch a company take a step back instead of forward.I agree that's disappointing. I played FFXI for many many years and having literally one male mithra in the entire world was annoying there too. I am not, however, going to burn Yoshi P in effigy as a result of their decisions here regarding Viera and Hrothgar. I've played a bunch of games with gender-locked races. I'll live.
If given the choice I'd rather update the current races for more variety instead of new races.
There are always going to be people that don't get what they want. It's literally impossible to please everyone. As a game dev you listen to community feedback, you take it into account, but you don't impanel the forums as part of the dev team.
Your monthly sub entitles you to access the game. You can give your feedback, you can give your opinions, and the dev team should read them. But they shouldn't be bound by what the forums think.
10 crysta has been deposited into your account.
they didnt screw over healers. its just not time for a new one until they can make them work better. also dps or no we desperately need more range classes too because like you, some people like range only so they also need options. maybe next xp when they feel they have a stronger battle system, they can add a new healer then.
What makes you think Shadowbringers won't have quality content in it? What I've seen looks pretty good. Even managed to re-purpose a 1.0 concept video (the Crystarium is a dolled-up version of an original concept for Ul'dah).
Looking at all the jobs they've released so far, they sure don't go out of their way to displease dps playersThere are always going to be people that don't get what they want. As of right now, imma just point to the current meta, and ask you just what do you see being dominate, and what would you at least hope Dancer can do to break the monotony up.
And Seeing Dancer is not out yet, and we still have a combat revamp to go through. Brd can easily have some debuffs swapped and be pure magic debuff, and Dancer can easily become the physical debuffer.
AST, not touching that one.
