Please do something about Roll Trolls

Although the end result of someone trolling like that isn't a huge deal, the intent is. I've seen the last person who hasn't rolled slow walk to the exit and then sit down or something, waiting for the rest of us to leave so they can get it or just to waste our time. They're not busy doing something else, or lagging, or unsure. Sometimes it's very clear that they're deliberately waiting to annoy everyone else.

Griefing is griefing, regardless of how severe it is.

SE please make an announcement because somehow it is not clear enough in your ToS. Greifing by way of not rolling on loot until the last seconds is not allowed.

The Idea behind this sort of greifing is that players will become frustrated and leave the instance thus no longer being eligible for the loot thereby reducing the amount of competing loot rolls against the greifer. Thereby forcing players to stand around for several minutes waiting after their legitimate roll for their loot.

It's not clear enough in the ToS because it's not against the ToS hence the timer. I've only had this happen once out of the thousands of instances I've been apart of and I just alt+tabbed to another window and watched YouTube videos. Nothing at all to get frustrated about though.

If there is any indication that they are indeed trolling, I think we can report them. I once reported someone who deliberately not rolling to spite the other party members, because according to them, the party were not performing as it should or something along that line (they actually said it in the party chat).

There is a timer for a reason. Thats the time everyone has to roll and there is nothing SE is gonna do about it.

People also use the roll timer so they do not get kicked.

In those alliance raids, you cannot kick someone if the loot roll is up, so they can afk for the first 5mins where you cannot kick, the alliance kills the first boss in this time, and then someone opens the chest (sometimes done by the afker) and then we cannot kick them because they won't roll on loot, and then the next boss gets killed, and the cycle repeats. The timer needs to be shortened.

It's pretty rare that I encounter this. 5 minutes isn't an unreasonable amount of time to wait. Adding another rule to address this is unnecessary, and would also be a pretty stupid way to handling the "problem," as opposed to simply shortening the timer. Just have a bit of patience.

Generally the only times I really see this is in 24 man duties on the last chests on the items from the 4th chest that fall into the pool of all 3 parties and sometimes on 8 man raids that are in the current cycle. Hardly ever have I seen it done because someone disconnected. Its pretty much always been someone essentially just standing there likely hoping everyone else will just leave allowing the items they want to fall into their inventory by default.

Wow, No ok i get it, if you are offline or getting DC or your house is on fire please take all the time you need. For those of you who completely missed the point of this, Rolling on loot at the very LAST seconds ON PURPOSE, is not the intention of the damn loot time, and you know it! Those of you that claim they havent seen this behavior in a while, Wow Queue some freaking content for god sakes. Eureka doesnt count!

Glad to know who secretly abuses the loot time, its like playing spot the vegan.
