For those of you who completely missed the point of this, Rolling on loot at the very LAST seconds ON PURPOSE, is not the intention of the damn loot time, and you know it! Seriously, your nonsensical paranoia that everyone is out to get you or piss you off in raids is irrational. Unless the person has stated DIRECTLY in party chat or chat of any kind, you can't do a damn thing to them or anyone else because you'd have no proof it was on purpose other than your "feelings" on the subject. And, I'm sorry, but "feelings" aren't good enough as circumstantial evidence since it turns into nothing more than a "she said, he said" petty argument.

But on topic, no, it is NOT too long. And YES people are ALLOWED to take all that time to decide how they are rolling. I have been in situations where people don't roll, at all, even though I've flat out told them it is an improvement on my gear(as a TANK) in the middle of a dungeon run. Would it have been nice to get that gear right away to boost my survivability? Hell yeah. Did I throw a fit because someone waited out the timer? No, because it's 5 minutes, and really not all that big a deal(and I'm talking getting gear from Doma Castle while still using Augmented Shire type of situation due to lack of funds, and crappy luck on loot drops). If it's at the end of the run, and you have to go right away, well, that sucks, but there is a 99.99999999999999999~% chance that there is nothing SE will do about it.

If you're trying to insinuate that anyone that doesn't agree with you regarding this must also be people who do this, I would have to counter with otherwise.

Just because we aren't as bothered by such a minor thing as you are doesn't automatically mean we abuse the timer. We just think you're overreacting. A lot.

Personally it makes me think you have yet to meet an actual troll who does real damage. This "issue" you brought up isn't even vaguely a real problem. It's a minor annoyance at best.

I don't agree with it but at the same time it's such a small thing. It's not causing harassment or grief. All it does is make you stand around for a few minutes after you have already finished the content, and this is assuming something you even want has dropped. You can literally go afk and do something while you wait. It's not like a DF queue in which you have to stay near your gaming machine if you don't want to miss your window.

The only time it has actually annoyed me is when I'm in a rush to get out. But that is my problem because I chose to do content when I knew I had limited time to complete it. It's not up to other people to rush just so I can get out a little faster.
