Please make Blue Mage a normal job

If you play it optimal then yes they have a core set, as I mentioned I just mess around with friends using far from optimal skill selection. I do not view it as a job, for me it is just side content as I do not even care what they call it. You are right it is not be a viable replacement for a tank or healer but it can be done, and running full BLU groups with friends for me as been some of the most fun I have had playing FFXIV. I would not unsub or anything if they took that away, but it would suck.

Please do not misunderstand BLU can be balanced with both aspects in mind, but I do have faith in the current combat team to do so.

I think the biggest thing is : They DONT have to take away BLUs skills or powerful overworld presence to make it good for end game content. It CAN have both with small changes people have stated over and over again (Peculiar Light/White Wind) and that is what is frustrating about it.

I liked BLU a lot until I had nothing to do on it as I got all my titles and skills in less than a week, and I was not playing constantly.

They do not have to, but something or someone within the team clearly feel otherwise or else they would have done so from the start. I know I am in the minority but I still enjoy myself with the content, sure I wish I had more skills to gather and could take part in more content. Just as I am personally hesitant and leery regarding brd changes for 5.0 I just do not trust the combat team not to screw up the aspects I enjoy. 4.0 dark knight, and mechanist sort of left me wanting when it came to their ability to do reworks. I will keep saying in an ideal world both aspects would coexist, I just do not have faith in the current team to make such a thing possible.

If they do rework it and I do not enjoy it I will just go back to the other aspects I enjoy of the game.
