I mean the newness is the fact that you can play them in the game lol. And it's exciting because people have been asking for Viera forever. I don't think familiarity detracts from them at all, especially since that's precisely the reason people begged for them.

Technically I already played as a Viera; Fran - I guess it's interesting to have my very own 'bunny' but this certainly won't be the first time I've controlled a Viera in game.
