I've said as much before, though I'd happily play a Highlander if they could be designed to have real eyebrows and a broader range of facial features. I played one for a while and enjoyed how he looked in armour, though eventually went back to Midlander since the dreaded 'same face' became a little too much to bear. I don't doubt that if more customisation options were added across the board then we'd see a spike in popularity for the lesser played races.

It doesn't help that a lot of hairstyles and casual glamour options just don't fit many of the playable races particularly well. An unfortunate consequence of some very vocal players pushing for everything to be 'unisex' even though 'unisex' is often code for 'feminine' and 'androgynous' aesthetics.

So you also have a situation where a lot of stuff looks decent on a Midlander but a lot weirder on a Roegadyn or Xaela.
