Personally, I felt it a shame when the devs decided to ditch Yda and replace her with Lyse, someone we knew nothing about. What was worse was the Scions seemed okay with it. Um... excuse me?

I have no idea why Yda couldn't have dropped her mask and become the leader of the resistance. Lyse seemed to be inserted just for the sake of inserting a new character.
