First of all, I don't give a rat's tail about Yoshi's opinion on the matter. This is a forum where I can provide MY feedback. And MY feedback is what you quoted in your post which is as follows:

Imposed limitations are stupid. If you want to limit yourself to only <insert activity here> on a 1 job, go ahead and do JUST that, don't ask SE to cap that job to level and make it unable to access duties through normal means. SIMPLE AS THAT.

If you do not want to do dungeons, raids or other fun content you don't enjoy on a normally functional BLU that can STILL learn abilities from mobs and still have its own Carnivale mini-game, be my guest. But don't block ME from using the job in what "I" enjoy. That's pretty damn selfish of you.

You see? We are not asking for YOU to LOSE YOUR FUN. We are asking to STILL HAVE OUR FUN ALONG WITH YOU. We all can wear our nice blue dresses and t-shirts, and if you wanna stay home to play with your dolls or action figures while we hang out in the streets then it is 100% up to you. You can have your fun while we also have our fun. You don't lock the door and go "If I stay home you stay home!" That's childish.

How is it ANY different if PLD had its mini-game of Colosseum, yet it remained this fully functional tank in raids or dungeons? If you don't want to tank dungeons on your PLD, then don't. You can always stand half-naked in Limsa doing /boxstep or whatever other things people enjoy doing in there.

This is getting silly because it is starting to feel that SE isn't giving content to its actual players and would rather spend their VERY LIMITED RESOURCES, as they keep claiming (They're not even adding butt sliders ffs!) on content that few people would enjoy a few days then move on.

Second thing is, the SE dev team have a funny way of admitting where they go wrong. (They just don't do it).

When NIN first came out and it was ridiculously broken they came with the excuse where "PLAYERS" used rotations they didn't plan. I mean, do they even read the tooltips of the skills they place into the game? Every class has 1 possible rotation because of how the general game's rotation-formula works: apply DoTs, apply buffs, by the time you do damage combo DoT needs to be reapplied, and by the time you do buffs need to be reapplied.

Yoshi-P did not want to buff PLD in Heavensward even though it was apepoop bad. Claiming that DRK does the same DPS if it was given slashing (and it didin't) and WAR being the "DPS tank" at the cost of mitigation (but it mitigated more) and PLD is the "defensive tank" so its DPS should be low.... PLD was bad in HW because its mitigation AND DPS sucked. But nope, PLD defensive tank LOL.

This is also the same team that said WAR in 2.0 was "strong", just google 2.0 WAR and you'll understand what I mean. Nvm, I'll do it for you: Check this.

I can go on, but I'll stop here.

If you enjoy BLU, go play it. But stop fighting those that want it to be MORE FUN. Apparently you don't like fun.
