Please no more Eureka!

Can you find someone who reached level cap at Pyros and would never bother getting the relic reward? That's like getting a free gift and refusing it after how easy it is once you hit level cap.

Pagos in my case, couldn't bother with the awful light farm to finish a relic, continued to Pyros just for the elemental glamours (someday).

If the farm is unbearable, it is unbearable and that's it.

Healers running past anyone who is dead is the every day, no one wants to miss the Fates and revive people is too much of a bother.

Well, the numbers were about those at level cap in Pyros. Also, the solo light farming made it easier for a lot to get through it. I know a lot who created multiple relics in Pagos in a single day by doing it. But that's too late now, since SE considers it a violation of TOS and an exploit to do it with the new TOS. I don't know how nerfed the light farm is in Pagos right now, since that's the only map I hate in Eureka and I rarely go there.

SE said they wouldn't ban anyone for doing it, and it is the only way to do farm light without wanting to kill yourself.

I've seen argument batted around a bit in this thread and it has me a bit confused, some people are claiming that Eureka is baiting people to go into it by offering glams, minions, mounts and hair.

The relic is nice, but imo I'd still be doing eureka even without it. For the other rewards though, how is it any different than rewards you can get from pvp, potd, or raiding?

The extreme rarity. Although I'm not a huge fan of cramming hairstyles and emotes behind PvP either (it's basically the same thing of forcing people who want them to do content they hate), at least those are obtainable to anyone who puts in the effort. You could farm forever and still not get a shiver emote. It might be the rarest item in the game. Or maybe that's the Elvaan minion from Pyros. It's completely absurd, and frankly I've gotten sick of the constant tease with new items in live letters and patch notes only to find they are basically unobtainable. Now any time they mention there being new hairstyles I don't get excited at all, I just wonder what kind of awful BS I'll have to trudge through to attempt to get it.

Can't speak for this relic, but in previous expansions they eventually became your BiS. So for people who liked to aim for that, or serious raiders, it was pretty much required, even if it required slogging through grinds and content that frankly were way below your skill level.

Reminds me of Azerite power in WoW right now, tbh. Best way to get them is through world quests (basically dailies) and these really boring faceroll instances called island expeditions. Even if you're a Mythic raider pushing prog on Jaina you still have to mass-AOE your way through braindead stuff to unlock your class's full potential. It's always been a frustrating conundrum for me, and part of the reason I'm glad I don't raid seriously in either game anymore.

This relic can be the best weapon if you are the luckiest sob because the stats are not getting chosen by you, they are generated randomly which makes this weapon absolutly horrible as a relic.
