Gender locked race?

Giving us Hrothgar instead of male Viera would be cheating me out of my money. As cool as some people may find it, another cat race is not what the game needs right now. Viera are what was hyped up all this time and that is what we are entilted to. Hrothgar is an entirely different race, and can never be equivalent to male Viera in my eyes since they don't look the same and have a completely unknown story. What is truly lazy is writing out an entire gender of a race, which in no way, shape, or form will be well received by the community. They deserve rage and pitchforks if they reveal Hrothgar instead of male Viera at the fanfest.

I have been in the "don't care either way" camp, and only came in here to call out absurd arguments and see what people were saying, but you single-handedly made me interested in the outcome because now I want to see what you do in late March. Uh-huh, sure. I hate Au Ra (more so because of the concept art where they looked way more interesting) and Viera (been against them for longer than Au Ra), yet here I am. Still playing this game. I've probably made threats of unsubbing if I didn't get what I wanted, but clearly that was a lie (I've learned to deal with the fact that if I want to play as something that isn't a human, I'll have to wait for SE to release beastmen/monster glamours that aren't joke glamours).

Only time I ever stopped subbing to this game was when I got bored.

Eh, I don't think it's fair to bring up your own anecdote in an attempt to minimize his own feelings/opinions about this. I'm on the same boat that I would be upset if SE decides to not give us male Viera and go the gender-lock route, but I don't exactly agree with the whole "pitchforks and rage" sentiment. He's entirely in his right to unsub if he wants to.
