Gender locked race?

Just here to add my voice to the chorus. The lack of male Viera wouldn't make me unsubscribe, not even close. But I'd be heavily disappointed in such a choice. The only slight saving grace to me would be if the male-only race (Hrothgar?) was presented similarly to the Viera (ie, beautiful and sexy). If you're going to deliver fanservice for one gender, I'd like to see it for the other too, please.

That said, if we got two full races (one beautiful and one bestial) that would be amazing!

I honestly would not want a sexy lion man. Someone posted those fanarts of dreamboat Scar from the Lion King and I was appreciative of the look, but I wouldn't want to have just another human-like race except with a mane. I'm with the Byakko-looking hopefuls camp.

Of the 4 lords he's my favorite because sexy naked anime man boss fight feat. heavy bass ...but he's got a human face, a human body, human limbs, human shaped hands with claws, etc. The only non human bits on him are the digitigrade feet, long kitty tail, and tiger arm, and the last one is probably not on the menu.

He's beastly in the sense that he isn't just a human with cat ears and a tail tacked on. His entire body is covered in fur, for starters - that isn't applicable to Miqo'te nor is it applicable to Viera. His facial features are 'human' yet they still have an inhuman twist to them - which again isn't applicable to anything beyond Xaela and Raen men.

He's missing eyebrows and pupils but otherwise has a bishounen face with purple stripes painted on.

Like I said, I think he's hot...but I don't think he's beastly.

Nice sketch, I can see that working. Not beastly enough where the cutscenes will look like a joke, but enough where you obviously know they're in the between.
As for Viera, I don't know. Some of the art posted was really well done for me. I think it was the full coloured version of the Veena - white-haired. And another piece with the braids and facial tattoo. Of course, my personal preference is for them to be stoic like, rather than cute. Something sad about having a bunch of cutie patootie boys in a wood that lives and dies alone. But eh, that's my personal preference.
