Please extend this year's Valentione's Day event?

Yeah, I mean I guess it would be considerate of them to extend the event but I suppose they are not obligated to do so. They always toss the tag, "Sorry for the inconvenience" on the maintenance schedule and call it a day.

I am sorry you and your girlfriend ended up missing out on it OP, but hopefully the two of you were still able to do something together

I agree that the maintenance was poorly scheduled.

Duty Finder / Instanced Servers being broken and an important NM in Hydatos being broken does require some asap fixing, don't you think?

I agree that it sucks to have Event plans ruined like that, and extending it would surely be a great move of SE - but you have to take the bigger picture into account as well. Those bugs were unfortunate to happen at this time.

I mean, I get the instance server issue, but, the event's been running fine for two weeks up until now.

If they hadn't had the instance problems I'm sure it would have ended when originally scheduled

I think it's a bit silly for a couple to be upset about this instead of using Valentine's Day for doing...anything else other than being on an MMO and putting serious stock into a short Valentine's Day event.

...trust me, there are couples who'd love to do anything else other than being on an MMO on Valentine's Day, but thanks to long distance relationships this might very well be their best chance to spend some time together - so why not do the event quest that was designed for that day?

Dont judge people over this until you know their circumstances - while my boyfriend and I did the quest much earlier to be able to farm a few more items, I could see why people would wait with it. Getting upset about it now might be a bit silly - but not as silly as broken instances servers and an event schedudle that puts the actual holiday at the end of the allocated time.

There was no reason for it not to be extended considering the duty finder issues, really good that SE actually acknowledged that and did realize the effect it would have on the event.
