Gay subcultures ARE based off people’s body types. Twinks=skinny, bears=big and stocky, and otters=lanky and hairy. I described it that way on purpose to explain the rationale behind that other guys thinking.

I think for normalcy’s sake that Viera males don’t fall into either category too much, just something in the middle that doesn’t look too extreme.

Thinking of them as "subcultures" is exactly what perpetrates the stereotypes. They aren't subcultures, they're just body types.

How about people prefer different body types, regardless of their gender or sexuality, and we shouldn't criticise, deride or belittle them for their preferences by insinuating they only like what they like because of past trauma?

There is a fraction of gay culture who likes to obsess over these body types as if they were their own subcultures, but they are a minority, of a minority.

I mean, this whole mess started because someone went "EW, keep these femme twinks OFF MY GAME!" which more than present a preference, derides and belittles a portion of the community, why it's almost as if it were showing some... prejudice against it. There are ways to assert your preference without attacking others. And that's the last I'll say about the subject because this is not the thread for that.

We don't know if there are male and female database entries because both races will have both genders or if it's just for the sake of uniformity, even if those strings are never used. I'm gonna laugh really hard if Yoshida dances around all of it at Tokyo and we have to wait for the benchmark.

I think Yoko Taro is being a bad influence.
