Like to me they are the definition of the job. Making is so there is only ONE way to get this and behind content like Eureka is bad design. You want to get Eureka a reason to be played? Give it rewards like Deep Dungeon has. It has it's glamour weapon and other RNG rewards. And you don't need to remove the relic from Eureka completly. You can still have it as an option to everything. Hell you could even let PVP or MGP be a way to get the Relic weapon.

I'm more of a fan of a more personal quest for the Relic weapons. Like quests with instanced content that you can do solo but are somewhat challenging like the Masked Carnival for BLU. Or Trials like the ARR relic had where you fight a hydra and a chimera. Even making you run dungeons for items is fine like they did for the ARR Relic. Light grinding isn't really fun to me, but even that sort of makes sense cause you are attuning your self to the weapon. Instead of Light Grinding they could tie that step to Spirit Bonding with the weapon instead.
And what if SE in the next coming day decided that
"okay people complain about relics in eureka, so we make them green stuff, problem solved"
    Will it be?

Certain type of content rewards you exclusively and shows of your dedication to it, its just happens they have put it in eureka, because they probably had not enough resources to create separate and long questline along with some exclusive duties, just to make some glamour weapons special. This thing is a thing of the past, and waste of money in the long run. Why should they create a questline, if they could make the gameplay of their game more diverse for everyone and for much longer?
Its a design decision of the game devs, dont take it for granted that they would actually do anything similar like with anima or zodiac relics today if there would be no eureka, since it will have no sense to produce so much just for the sake of someones glamour. If anything killed "unique relic weapons" its a unstoppable race for the raids, players asked for more and more, SE had to put in better weapons and the relic questlines had no chance to catch up, no wonder why they abandoned this idea of relic weapons obtainable through chain quests.
Blame raiders for making this game more competitive, speeding up the progress and introduction of more content for them, because that what made the relic weapons irrelevant as a efficient weapons to use on their own.

You keep saying stuff like this but the Relic weapon in ARR and HW was good enough to not need have to continually buy weapons for your main job. For the casual player that didn't raid, like me, I could upgrade my weapon and never need to get a Tomestone weapon or a Primal weapon to do the things I wanted to do. Which was dungeons, normal 8 man raids, and 24 man raids. I didn't have to constantly buy a new tomestone weapon every new item level increase cause I knew the relic upgrade was right around the corner.

The problem still stems from the fact that they took the Relic weapon. Something you had pleanty of options to choose how you wanted to obtain it and upgrade it, and stuck it in Eureka because Eureka wasn't good enough on it's own to get people to do it. Look at Deep Dungeon. It doesn't have a relic weapon. People still do those. Can we say for certain that if the relic wasn't in Eureka people wouldn't still do Eureka? Not 100%. But enough people on the forums have expressed that if the relic was not in Eureka they wouldn't do it, is bad designed content. You don't take something everyone, or almost everyone, wants, and put it solely in a type of content like Eureka just to justify the fact that you developed it. Especially when relic weapons were not restricted to one type of content before then.

If Eureka had been like deep dungeon. Some form of small group instanced content instead of zone wide stuff, and have been more fun than just another form of level grinding that people have already done out in the overworld with their jobs, so now you are effectivly asking them to level the same job twice, had it's own rewards like deep dugeon. It might have withstood on it's own. The story isn't even half bad. It's better than the Heaven on High story by a long shot. But all they did was take some of the worst things from FFXI, they even got some FFXI fanboy to design Eureka, and stuck them in the game with FFXIV's combat system.
