People would still do it. Saying the relic is the only reason people go there isn't true. Else Anemos would be a deserted land when it first released and people got their relics, since it can easily take you less than three days to get your weapon+full gear set. You wouldn't have seen level 20s still there despite having their relic weapon. Why? there are other rewards to get there. Some do it to cap weakly tomes, the T-rex mount, the bardings, rare drops from NM (Scorpion harness etc.). If the relic was the only reason, that content should have died in less than a week because of how quick it is to get the relic. I didn't mention Pyros cuz some would use the argument that people are doing it for the RNG stat rolls, which I would question the people doing it for the stats as to why they're doing it if they're not going to run savage or ultimate content?

They can take it out, the relic isn't the only reason that me and lots of others go there anyway. But, if they're gonna put it back the same way it was before, where I have to run a A1S 100 times, pay tons of gils for crafted items or grind fates for a really small drop rate for Atmas, then I would 100% support it being in Eureka. If SE was to come up with a new way other than that or Eureka then I'm all for it.

Why not have both as an option?

I felt the Heaven's Ward way of handling relics was perfect. You probably didn't but what if we could get the Shadowbringers relic from doing either? That would make us both happy, having the choice to get our relic the way we prefer.

You didn't need to run AS1 100 times nor did you need to pay out the nose for crafted items. We're a year into this and yall are still brining up these false equivalencies as a defense of Eureka
