That gave me a thought. There are a few reasons I dislike the kind of macro that you made.
1st, as Whiskey mentioned you lost control of your Spirits Within oGCD. Your macro will force spirits within on press of the button, but in a paladin opener you generally want to align your fight or flight buff with spirits within, and Fight or flight isn't pushed until just before your first goring blade.
2nd, your video shows clipping in both cases. Why? Your GCD was up and you used an oGCD. That is clipping, the video shows that you clipped. If you want to show that it doesn't show clipping you need to do a rotation where your GCD is on cooldown, spirits within macro is used, and the GCD is used without sitting on cooldown.
The second reason also has a control aspect. If I am close to using Fast Blade with that macro, and spirits within in coming off cooldown, then the game will prioritize Spirits within, and push back fast blade. I might think to myself, well I'll just switch the order of the two. This doesn't work. If I press that macro before my GCD is up to use fast blade as my GCD comes up the macro will only see Spirits within as being usable and force the clip again.
I think i will move SW to the other GCD (shield lob probably) so i will not waste time to cast it before starting my GCD, and i wont clip it with anything i use in the rotation, thanks.
