What do you mean by clipping?

Macros don't queue up the same as non-macro'd abilities. For example it's near impossible to double-weave with a macro unless you happen to get lucky with the server tick. This can, and usually does, cause an eventual delay between your macro and next GCD ability. To be honest, if you haven't noticed then you're either incredibly unobservant or not playing at a high level. Macros have had this problem since launch.

I dont see much of a difference, you still have to wait about 0.2 sec for some animation before executing second action.
The delay between oGCD and GCD on macro and on 2 buttons is practically the same, test it yourself i did.
Look, take a spirits within and fast blade, combine them into macro, and on the second hotbar get them seperate, test it few times on dummy or trash mobs and compare.
Make it so the Spirits within will be used first and the fast blade, you will see the animation of spirits within on both combination ends at the exact same time, if you want i could obs it and show u.
I am playing on PC with a controller, maybe PS4 gets crazy when using macro idk, or maybe putting GCDfirst in order and oGCD second clips the animations. So far oGCD > GCD works well for me.

Again, there are occasions where you get lucky with the server tick and it's not as noticeable. There are also situations where it can cause your group to wipe, which is why I've chosen to avoid them for any particularly important abilities. This happened to me when I tried to use a macro for shirk. You mean, Using oGCD and GCD at the same time?

Nevermind the fact that the above example is a horribly inefficient way to use Spirits Within. There may be times when you want hold Spirits so it fits into a FoF/Trick Attack window.

When using your skills you have to keep in mind that, no matter what input you will use, there is still that "all global cooldown" for any type of action, which is about 0.2 or 0.3 sec between each ability. This contributes to the feeling of the "animation clipping" which causes you to think that there is a delay in macro between two actions in it, but when you use two separate buttons for this you feel it less of a annoyance because you have to travel your finger from point A to B.Again, there are occasions where you get lucky with the server tick and it's not as noticeable. Also you dont have to put SW into the fast blade, you could put it into the Rage of halone and it will work just fine. You still saves 1 button in your gamepade you could use for other useful macro.

I will probably take away that macro on circle of scorn and eclipse, since there is quite of difference between those two, but with spirits within and fast blade i cant notice any.
