You’re still failing to take note of context—people got snippy when you mentioned a new player in a party NOT meant for new players. This is not the same as them getting snippy about new people in general.

Your other situations don’t really prove your point either. People running ahead of a tank? Disrespectful, sure. But how does that apply to your premise of “people get mad about playing with new players”? Your comment about 24-mans is also strange: I’ve done the 24-mans at launch and people never say anything negative about new people because everyone is learning the content at this point.

You’re using the incorrect word by using “stigma”. I believe the word/phrasing you’re looking for is, “It’s the norm for tanks to pull everything to the boss”, which it is.

I’m not proving any of your points—I’m saying this is something that doesn’t happen hardly ever. I’ve never seen people get angry about people not knowing mechanics Day 1, and I’ve ran 24-mans on Day 1 for quite some time now. And they don’t get mad or make a big deal about it because people are learning. Your example of one person getting testy about a healer not DPSing on Day 1 does not make it the norm.

More often than not, people don’t say much in the chat. Even when people are messing up repeatedly.
