The only way it wouldn't be corrupt to you would be if they remove it, I assume.

I literally said I’m not saying “it is corrupt” in what you quoted. If you have a problem with the phrase “corrupting influence,” replace it with “warping” or “distorting” influence or whatever floats your boat. It’s an external factor altering the original course of game design.

They can sell all the horse armor they want in the Mog Station and I have no problem with that. The problem is when they take things that would normally be expected to be part of a game in this genre, pull them out of the game, and then charge extra for them. There are a huge number of posts in this thread explaining that.
