You want to know what each report for me was?
First time ever was due to a drg telling me "I don't know how to play drg so I shouldn't talk" That is the response I was given when asking him to please doom spike the 14 mob pull the tank was doing. After he said that I threaten to kick him from the dungeon.
Second time being ban was from a thordan ex farm party 7/8 static members and we had picked up 1 random. This random was on smn and our healers where struggling to keep up due to the aoe damage and we needed a dead member to be raised and when asked to help, he responded with "stfu, no my problem" after that I same "SMD" and then we kicked him. Later that night I got a ban. Third time I was ban was due to me just being a rude MF and was deserved and that was my first time ever being ban, I learn my lesson to not be one of the many toxic players that day. Each time I've been ban after that 1 time has been me retaliating in a poor manner and it's just an impulse I have and it's not something I can control as you can see with my final ban just around the corner. The latest report I had was due to me telling off a guy for being toxic to the tank because he didn't position the boss in the most perfect position. I'm being treated like a monster right now, like everyone attacking me and telling me it's my fault for being so bad. All I'm doing is trying to be nice and I'm met with so much toxic and rudeness each time and it caused me to lose my cool.

Why would I even waste my time with this, knowing the GM's keep a record of every report so that if I was telling BS it wouldn't matter because the GMs will see it anyways. They can look me up. I'd link it myself for all to see each chat log from each report if I was given the info. If a someone else is telling BS on here like how I'm speaking but are not telling the truth, they're not really smart. As soon as a GM opens up your case they have access to everything you said. It's all saved because they keep track of it all.

First of all, one sided text from a single party is not proof. Secondly, you're posting on a public forum which kind of leaves you open to judgement from other players, if you don't like that, I'm sure there were other avenues you could have taken to talk directly with the GMs about your issue.

    Listen. You aren't special.

SE's rules are a bit draconian, that's fair to argue. I could agree to a slow decline in punishment escalation after a year straight of clean behavior (not including time unsubbed). But countless times people like you who get slapped again and again deserve it. I've played the game for four years, I've seen my fair share of jerks and rude potty-mouths. Somehow I magically have no strikes against my account despite getting myself embroiled in stupid arguments like this with a very confrontational style.

Own your behavior. Don't blame other people for "making" you reply to their provocations like a kid. Impulse control is one of the many things you're supposed to learn as you grow up. And if you want security about not getting banned, here are some easy tips everyone should know when interacting with strangers in MMOs:

    1. If you don't know the group, be cognizant that off-color jokes and language can get you in hot water. Get a feel for the vibe and the players before trying to make a slightly racist/sexist/homophobic/off-color joke (or just don't make them at all!)
    2. Don't insult people directly even if they're instigating it by harassing you
    3. Don't use swear words in heated conversation- a chat filter is no excuse to be vulgar
    4. Don't submit false reports in retaliation
    5. Don't troll/hinder the group if things aren't going your way. Just leave or ride it out and report at the end if necessary.

There, you will never have to worry about being banned again in every game ever. Even this one where you got yourself one step away from a permaban.

I'm here because the GM's pointed me here and told me to make my case here and they will look into it.

Well, in that case it'd probably be a better idea to actually use the account subject to the whole thing. Using an alt account just looks evasive. Anyway, just don't be surprised if nothing comes out of this plea for change, because the system seems to work relatively well for most people right now.

Having a mental health problem in not something you can simply slap the the label of acting like a kid over. I'm 28 and my mind is not at the level of a 28 year old. I've been in hospitals for most of my child hood but this matters not to internet people who assume I'm making everything up anyways. Why do I even try to do anything. I'm just going to give up and never try anything again. I'm trying to not talk back to people but it's in my blood... I can't stop it. It's a problem that I can't just will it to stop. I'm sorry for wasting everyone's time thinking I could change the rules slightly for people like me. Guess everyone who stands up against the tolls and says words that are against the rules will be ban for ever while the more intelligent toxic trolls will continue to report people like me who are not as smart. What a world to live in.

You’re comparing apples to oranges here.

Yes, you do have a way of controlling it. For some it’s harder and takes more time and effort than others, but you can absolutely control your mind when you receive proper treatment for your condition.

Addicts also have a myriad of programs designed specifically to help them control their impulses. Some fail, but plenty of others succeed.

Don’t make excuses for your actions.

Sorry but I can't believe that you are physically incapable of taking your hands off the keys and doing something else until you calm down. I have diagnosed mental health issues too... but I don't let them define me or what I do, though it was a heck of a long road to get from "why does everyone hate me?!" to "alright, I'm going to do something stupid by replying, but at least I won't get myself banned for it". I had to work hella hard to understand that I'm not some downtrodden hero by resisting the rules, I'm just being a selfish brat by refusing to abide by common decency. Using mental health as an excuse to be a flaming a****** or uncooperative jerk is doing a huge disservice to the people who are in the same boat as you but trying to be the best they can despite the hardships.

Your only mental health issue I can see is that you've got a victim complex, thinking you're some scrappy little underdog fighting the good fight while the rest of us are trying to keep you down. That's definitely not the case. The report system works to punish people who troll or otherwise make the game unenjoyable (as you can attest) and you should be using that to make the game a better place, not ruining instances by starting flame wars. (Think about how effective all these words being wasted on you are... why would yours be any more effective on someone else? Especially if all you're doing is insulting and trash-talking them.)

Medication helps; as well as learning methods to control your impulses. People with Tourette's have been able to control it. If people start to bother you, program yourself to turn your keyboard off as a first course of action. Learn to walk away. Learn that some people will just be morons, and no amount of words will change that. Pretend you already won the argument and you don't need to say anything. Find a way (or treatment) that works for you.

Judging from your original post, you are scared of losing something. Use that. It's something to fight for, and be a better person for. Take some time away from the game to deal with your issues. Or simply face the reality that the internet/social games may not be for you. People can live and have lived without both.

You ask why addicts can't stop? Some do. They seek help, and deal with their issues. The ones that don't prefer to be a victim to circumstances their entire lives.

You must have said some pretty nasty things to get banned. They don't just ban someone for calling another person stupid. Half of the people who play would be gone by now. I imagine you used more... colorful words in your approach to dealing with others. There are ways to deal with disagreements without getting nasty.

It also sounds to me that no matter what the context, or how many warnings you receive, you will continue your behavior. You cannot stop it, according to your own words. Hence my question. How many slaps on the hand do you think you deserve, before you feel you can control your impulses? Can you ever stop? Would you even be able to produce your so-called "good behavior" for 1-3 months? Should the rules constantly be changed to accommodate you? What about someone that is worse off than you? What if someone had an addiction/disorder where they couldn't stop cheating? Should they get special treatment? How many warnings should a person get if they cannot change? Would it even make a difference?
