Viera Race "Confirmed" for 5.0! Are you gonna change races?

If it were Bugs Bunny alone, I'd 100% subscribe to the idea of Viera. However...

"Motorcycles" -- that throws me off. Unless it was a reference to the motorcycle for people who went to FanFest?

But I dont think they would go that far and have a bunny on the t-shirt, make all these hints at it and then suddenly have something else other than the Viera. I mean I still hope for a more beastly race (a girl can dream right? T_T) but I dont believe that they would be that horrible to disappoint their fans that much, especially after the thing with blue.

When Viera comes out, I’m going to pop the fantasia.

If they look good, imma go with it for a while.

If not, I’m going back to my male Au Ra.

Just create one. Even the cheap version you can make up to 8 characters, they'd just have to be on another world. Play it for an hour or whatever, then of you like fantasia. If you don't you've saved the cost of the fantasia(s).

Considering they did some work on Viera but decided on Auri instead, I am hoping Viera will be well polished, since they have more time to work on them. And if they Do have Fran for the last of the Ivalice raids, then that would give them time to see the public reaction and do last mintue changes if players complain. That's what I am hoping for anyway.

I don't think they meant that there is another race that we'll get instead of Vieras, but rather alongside with them.
There was a rumor going around that we'll be getting 2 races in this expansion.

Ronzo I believe is being predicted by someone with a very good track record of predictions. He predicted Viera as one of the two if I'm not mistaken. We got a lot of info at this fanfest with two more to come. I looking forward to quite a few more surprises.

If i were to guess, i actually think that other race will be a sub race like Lupin. I dont expect a lion race/ronsos. Beside Ronsos have any lore mention yet? I dont recall Lupin had before stormblood expansion but hmm..

Yes we need more options in the Lalafell range. We already have tall Elezen, Roegadyn, male Au Ra and Highlander - but the only small race are Lalafell.

Female Au Ra are the 2nd smallest race out there. I have no idea what can actually fit between lalafell and female Au Ra.

The problem about tall female races like Elezen and Roe are, that they pretty rare (and sometimes ugly. sorry).

I guess Viera would be some kind of tallest but also sexy race. Maybe a bit smaller than Elezen, when you exclude their bunny ears.

Agreed. In my opinion Elezen look ugly, and their bodies are shaped like cardboard, and I won't even get into the she-hulk race. I'd rather make a male character, and I think the male characters in this game look dumb. Sorry, I'm just not into the emo hair cuts or the neanderthal hyur.. Just my opinion.
