Viera Race "Confirmed" for 5.0! Are you gonna change races?

I might change races - but I need to see it myself on an alt first. I know you can always buy a fantasia and stuff but - lol its easier to make an alt save the customization and then bring it over to my main.

Isn't there 2 clan ver. for each race. I'm hoping that 1 clan the tall "FFXII Fran" design and another clan the small cute design.

I'd love that.

But, seeing what they did to AuRa I'm not even trying to hold my breath.

One thing I like about my Miqo'te is that it has ear-wiggles, and I am hoping that Viera have some kind of ear movement too.
For example, my pet bunny would have her ears straight up normally, but when she became curious about something, her ears would spread apart in a V shape. If she was scared, she would lie her ears flat against her body.
If Viera ears remain stationary at all times, I would be extremely disappointed.

Actually this is a big factor for me too, the main reason I hate all the "add-on" ears we have so far (like the bunny crown) is that they are all so rigid and it just doesn't look natural.

Uh. Well, if you don't know the history of Yoshida teasing upcoming additions to the game by wearing t-shirts as clues then the skepticism is understandable.

But at Fanfest when he said "NO HINTS!" about the new race the camera zoomed right in on his Bugs Bunny racing tee... pretty tongue-in-cheek way of telling us without actually saying anything if you ask me.
